Early Neurological Stimulation is a program that was originally used to raised dogs for Military use. It was then adapted for use in raising service animals and pets. From days 3-16 of life we handle our puppies daily through what appears to be 5 basic positions. In reality these positions place the puppies through a small amount of stress which activates their edocrine system. This is proven to improve the strength of puppies hearts, immune system, and stress response later in life. These puppies are better behaved and calmer. They are generally better at problem solving and more socialized as well.
In 2019 I began taking courses to better my education on puppy raising. I am constantly evolving and growing as a breeder. This curriculum really focuses on individually re-working your program to empower our puppies, honor their parents, and create an easier transition into their furever homes.
It focuses on introducing novelty items to puppies to work their minds and bodies and help them come out of their shell. Using BAB Curriculum our puppies are able to blossom and their temperments really shine through by the time we complete our evaluations.
Have you ever met a dog with a fear of loud sounds? That panic during storms or holidays such as the 4th of July?
As soon as puppies ears begin to open, at approximately day 14-18 of life I begin playing CD's, Television, Movies, etc so dogs get used to many sounds. I want them to hear loud bangs, trains, crowds, fireworks, and more. This helps them adjust to sounds quickly and without panic.
We have received great feedback from puppy families about the success of our protocol and sound desensitization in their everyday life!
Puppy Culture is a program that works puppies through the crucial first months of their lives. This program familiarizes puppies with challenges, environments, socialization, and acceptable manners. Puppies raised on this program are usually very willing to work and follow commands. They transition more easily into homes and society!
ESI is a program completed from day 3-16 of life. Every day we introduce puppies to a new and unfamiliar scent. The scents we use vary from lamb wool, spices, and more. ESI has shown to work a puppies mind during a period of time where their nose is their greatest asset. Dogs raised on ESI have successes in hunt tests and field trials, nosework, search and rescue work, obedience, tracking and other working positions.
Potty Training 1 puppy is HARD. Potty training and keeping an entire litter clean is harder. We use poop school to litter train our puppies so that they know where they should go potty during their time indoors in the whelping area. This is also effective in helping them transition to pottying outdoors in their new homes.
